I'm Andrea!
I’m an Ecuadorian-American: a bilingual daughter of two Ecuadorian immigrants. I’m an actor, artist, writer, and climate justice organizer based in Los Angeles. I moved around a lot growing up, but was mostly raised in Austin, Texas. I am privileged to have graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern University.
Acting TV/Film credits include: Fallout (Amazon Prime), Monsters: the Erik & Lyle Menendez Story (Netflix), Law & Order: SVU (NBC), NCIS: Origins (NBC), Night Sky (Amazon Prime), Chicago PD (NBC), and Itchy Fingers (Tallgrass Film Festival). I wrote/co-directed/produced/starred in my latest short film, And Usted También, which premiered at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival.
Writing credits include: The Los Angeles Times, HipLatina, and LatinaMedia.Co. My young adult graphic novel, A Little Bit Gringa, will be on shelves in 2027, by way of Penguin Randomhouse’s Dial Books for Young Readers. You can me follow at @byandreacf for my most recent visual art work.
I care deeply about the intersection of the arts & activism, abolition, and environmental & climate justice. I organize mainly with Sunrise Movement, Sunrise Movement LA , The Community Self Defense Coalition, and the Hollywood Food Coalition.
I am una Latina pelirroja who is constantly grappling with their Latine identity and doesn't always get US American idioms quite right. You might find me exercising, watching Survivor, making lists, and eating frozen blueberries.
